Personal space is important. Someone sitting on the bow alone may just want some quiet time.

Bring a book or three. Reading is a real conflict saver.

Loud personal music should never be played without everyone's approval.  Even if you have earphones on, please ensure that the music is not at a level that others can hear.

Pick up, clean up and stow your personal items out of sight at all times, especially shoes and clothing.

Part of the enjoyment of boating is time to simply enjoy the beauty around you or watch the activity in harbour. An hour or two of silence is not a bad thing.
