Notes for NEW CREW:

  1. Maximum 9 people for a single-day or 4 people on a multi-day cruise.
  2. Fireworks guests must stay at least until dawn.
  3. Base Boat Rental Cost is for 2 crew, with additional cost for each extra crew member.  Fees are inclusive of all fuels and crew get to use of all the cruising gear aboard.
  4. No experience is required...you can be as active or passive as you like.   Captain GiO can run the boat single handed or with help.
  5. Convenient pick up/drop off spots: If parking is a consideration, the best location for pick up/drop off is either Granville Island public dock, Vanier Public boat launch or the Jericho Sailing Club in English Bay. Or, if you live close to False Creek pick up can be arranged at David Lam Park, Monk McQueens or the Spyglass aquabus docks.
  6. Bedding and Provisions (food + beverages) are the responsiblity of the crew.  All of the provisions brought aboard the boat stay on board when you leave.  This makes packing up easier and allows for the sharing of provisions from previous crews, and is a nice tip for the skipper. Basic staples are stocked on the boat like salt and pepper etc. Overnights are fine as long as the charter lasts less than 18 hours.  The captain will occupy one of the berths leaving ample room for 4 crew in two separate private berths or crew can be dropped of at Water Access only Campgrounds to stay for the night.
  7. Very Family, Queer and Alternative Friendly.
  8. Soft soled shoes are best on board, or rubber boots in inclement weather. Bring layers of clothing, as you never know when the weather may change.
  9. Payment must be completed at least 1 day before the date of the charter, and the charter will not be confirmed until payment in full has been received.
