2009 May 9-13 - Howe Sound

Pam and GiO decided to check out Gambier Island, and in particular Halkett Bay. GiO challenged Pam's assumptions about boating only during the day, and they left in the early evening. It was very spooky and quite fun to be one of the only pleasure craft in English Bay and Howe Sound, gliding among some of the huge tankers at anchor. Gambier Island General Store is a fun place to visit.
