2007 - Cyclades, Greece

After studying art history for so many years, Greek antiquity was something Captain GiO wanted to see firsthand. Visiting the city of Delos, the second largest archeological site in the world showed insights into early Greek civilization. Visiting the Temple of Poseidon to give an offering ensured a safe passage throughout the southern Greek islands. Would highly recommend Captain Patrick from Gap Adventure Tours. We went snorkeling many times, but saw very few fish. This area, unfortunately, has been fished out from commercial fishing. This trip was on a 46' Beneteau sailboat. This cruise started in Athens, traveled south through the Cyclades ending in Santorini.
