Daily Rental of a 36' Catalina Sailboat with Vancouver Captain
Captain GiO has sailed on large charter sailboats in the south eastern Caribbean, as well as in the southern Greek islands. This experience, along with a lifetime of all kinds of other boating in the Pacific Northwest, has given him insight on how to run an effective large sailboat cruise with multiple people aboard. 2012 will be Captain GiO's fourth season of chartering Pegasus.
The moment guests board Pegasus, they relax into the cruise and are transported into a world of rest, relaxation and adventure. Single or Multi day eco-friendly sailing adventures on this classic 36' Catalina sailboat are a fantastic way to get to water access only points. With enough time, we can target salmon, ling cod, shellfish, prawns, and dungeoness crab. If fishing is not your style, there is swimming, kayaking, suntanning, beachcombing, hiking and visits to some of the best small towns on the Inside Passage of British Columbia.
We believe in short passages, typically no longer than 3-6 hours per day with lots of left over time to play with Zeus (11' dinghy) and the 2 person inflatable kayak for those who like to go gunkholing. The pace of the cruise really is directed by those on the charter. Crew can sit back and watch the captain single hand the sailboat or you can get as involved as you want.

Charter length can be a few hours to multiple days, and start time can be negotiated. Children/teens with their own life vests are welcome with adults. Maximum number of guests is 9 for the day or 4 or less for a sleep over.
